Before we point out some advantages of the refacing process we would like to invite visitors who have basic questions about the process of "refacing" to check out our => Q&A segment

The 5 primary advantages of refacing (rather than replacing) cabinets are:
  • Saves Money by reusing your existing kitchen cabinets. This way you can save around 50% of the cost of completely replacing existing cabinets.
  • You like your (maybe custom-made) cabinets. New isn't necessarily better. In some cases, existing cabinets are of very good structural quality - better than many new cabinets are built these days.
  • You may gain the features you would want in a new kitchen such as more storage room or greater accessibility, while keeping other elements and thereby eliminating construction expense.
  • Cabinets can be added, removed or altered in order to introduce new appliances that didn't fit before, or were unavailable when the house was built (e.g. built-in microwave, larger refrigerator). Perhaps converting from a wall oven to a freestanding stove (island), and changing the oven cabinet into a pantry with roll-out shelves and spice racks, or revolving stacked trays.
  • Less disruption. New cabinets very often do not fill the same "hole" as the old cabinets, requiring repairs to walls, replacement of floor sections and/or relocation of appliances. Refacing is done with cabinets rarely being removed from where they sit or hang. Refacing often takes less time to complete than building and/or installation of new cabinets.
